The Bolton's Grand Canyon Colorado River White Water Rafting Adventure

On May 11th 2004 the Bolton Family (Carl, Rita, Jody, Jeff, and Sue) departed

from Lee's Ferry at the mouth of the Grand Canyon. We would emerge 8 days

later on the waters of Lake Mead. In those 8 days we traversed 280 miles and

approximately 160 rapids. Along the way we took many hikes up side canyons,

ate like kings, made new friends, and looked in awe at the beautiful scenery that

surrounded us everywhere we looked. These pictures cannot do justice to the scenes

they attempt to convey, but unless you take the trip yourself they will have to do.

We took over 800 pictures. We took 350 digital images, eight 27

exposure waterproof disposable cameras, and 10 rolls with the 35mm.

It is really hard to pare down the pictures to just a few,

so I have posted most (700) of them here on our web site.

In the interest of preventing Carpel Tunnel Syndrome,

I have created slideshows so you can just sit back and watch.
